Lancashire Wedding Photographer
As a Lancashire Wedding Photographer, I am familiar with photographing weddings at the majority, if not all of the Lancashire wedding venues.
Lancashire is home to a number of stunning and very different wedding venues. Set amongst stunning green countryside, Lancashire is a fantastic part of the world to live, and to get married in, and there are no shortage of Lancashire wedding venues to choose from! Wedding photography Lancashire is a fantastic place to photograph weddings, as the scenery is beautiful and very varied.
Rustic Lancashire Wedding Venues
The rustic wedding venues such as Rivington Hall Barn, Beeston Manor, Browsholme Hall & Tithe Barn and Bartle Hall’s Balmoral Suite offer a more rustic country feel to your wedding date. Often with lots of woodwork and original features intact, these buildings can make for some beautiful light and stunning backdrops for country wedding photographs. Those who prefer the more laid back, relaxed weddings will love these venues as they instantly set the scene for a fun and informal wedding day.
Traditional Lancashire Country House Wedding Venues
There are some more traditional country house style venues too, such as Farington Lodge, The Marriot Hotel, Eaves Hall and Mitton Hall – these stunning old buildings, often steeped in history, offer a more traditional wedding setting, often these venues also have beautiful grounds and scenery nearby. Often set in huge beautiful and maintained grounds, which makes going for a walk through the grounds on your wedding day something which can lead to some great, natural and unposed photographs.
I am fascinated by the history of some of these old buildings – for example, Eaves Hall a wedding venue in Clitheroe Lancashire, a-long-time-ago was the PG Tips Headquarters! Anyone who is a tea-lover should book immediately! And the Shireburn Arms, a country-pub overlooking the Ribble Valley was believed to have been where The Hobbit & Lord Of The Rings was conceived, and possibly written – and many believe the “Shire” (Shireburn Arms!) was based on the surrounding area and views from the back of the Shireburn Arms – having photographed many weddings here, I love this story and can believe it as the views are stunning!
I’m lucky enough to work at these stunning locations regularly, photographing weddings, and I know the venues very well. Being a Lancashire Wedding Photographer is a fantastic job!
