Emily & Filippo’s Intimate Wedding at Browsholme Hall

There was something really special about Emily and Filippo’s wedding at Browsholme Hall in the Ribble Valley. A small, intimate celebration with their closest friends and family, it was one of those days that felt completely centred around the people who mattered most.

Filippo is Italian and Emily is English, so it was particularly lovely to see Filippo’s family travel over from Italy to celebrate with them. With both sides of the family and their closest friends together, there was a wonderfully relaxed and happy atmosphere throughout the day.

Their outdoor ceremony took place at The Lonesome Pine, one of Browsholme’s woodland ceremony locations, surrounded by trees and completely immersed in nature. And what a day they picked for it! The weather was beautifully warm, with the sunlight filtering through the tree canopy and creating the most incredible setting for such a small and personal ceremony.

There was no need for a huge guest list or an elaborate production. Instead, Emily and Filippo's day was all about spending time together, surrounded by the people they love. The Italian and English families coming together made the whole occasion feel even more meaningful.

As a wedding photographer, these smaller weddings are always a joy to photograph. There’s something incredibly genuine about an intimate wedding where you can really feel the connection between everyone there. Lots of laughter, plenty of emotion and those little moments between family and friends that make a wedding day what it is.

Emily and Filippo’s wedding was a beautiful example of just how special a small, intimate wedding at Browsholme Hall can be — relaxed, personal and surrounded by the stunning Ribble Valley countryside.
