Nick and Anna’s wedding at The Wild Boar in the Lake District was one of those days that no one will ever forget — and not just because of the non-stop rain! From start to finish, their day was packed with laughter, mud, and moments that proved that love and joy shine through, no matter what the weather (or a broken-down bus) might throw your way.

After a beautiful ceremony, guests hopped aboard a vintage wedding bus ready to celebrate — but things took a turn when it broke down outside the Ashton Memorial. Cue the guests gamely trying to jump-start the old bus in their best wedding attire, laughing through the drizzle as the rain kept on coming. Despite the setback, everyone’s spirits were sky-high, and the day rolled on with smiles all around.

Back at The Wild Boar, the adventures didn’t stop there. We ventured out in a Jeep for some photos deep in the woods behind the venue — and of course, it got completely stuck in the mud! The rain didn’t let up for a single second, but that didn’t matter one bit. Nick and Anna were absolute stars, laughing through every soaked moment, embracing the chaos, and making memories that perfectly reflected their fun-loving, adventurous spirits.

Sometimes, the most imperfect wedding days turn out to be the most perfect stories. This was definitely one of those days — wild, wet, and absolutely wonderful. A true Lake District wedding to remember!
