The Ashton Memorial Lancaster & Lancaster Brewery Wedding Photography

Gemma & Ben were married at the iconic Ashton Memorial in Lancaster, which is a stunning place to be married! I have been to the Ashton Memorial many times and love the views over
Morecambe and Lancaster, and the building itself is beautiful both outside and inside where they were married.

Wedding Ceremony At The Ashton Memorial Lancaster

Gemma spent the morning getting ready nearby with her bridesmaids, and Ben with his ushers. I was able to spend a bit of time in the morning with both the girls and the guys, before heading upto the Ashton Memorial for the wedding ceremony photography.

The weather really wasn't on our side, as we caught the tail end of Hurricane Irma. The winds outside the Ashton Memorial didn't stop everyone having a fantastic day - even if it was a bit blustery! Everyone enjoyed drinks and a warm reception inside the memorial building before heading off to Lancaster Brewery for the wedding breakfast and speeches!

Back at the Lancaster Brewery the wedding party really got going! Gemma's meticulous attention to detail was really evident here and she had put her personal touches everywhere, with their own "Gemma and Ben's" hand-pulled draft beer, stunning flowers and decorations throughout, and a huge donut-wedding cake! What a fantastic idea!!

I loved the warmth of the room, with the old-fashioned vintage sytle Edison light bulbs dangling from the ceiling inbetween vines of beer hops - it really looked superb!
